Fatima Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Fatima

Fatima

If I could I sure would, ask questions,
If she could, would answer.

Says news:
'She is young, an adult with a mind of twelve, '
So was she, Fatima.
News says: “He, also has same needs, ”
I would ask, him also, if I could.

Friendship with victim…in two months.
Though she lived out of town; and she had guardian.
Fatima lived near, and she walked to the farm.

“Manipulate to possess, ” is the term for both girls.
Pregnant Fatima; gave birth to, unaware of the pain.

Both men sick, physically, mentally
Abandoned
Goats and sheep, Hassan’s mates, or donkey.

The crimes have same roots
Victims and predators are ignored, and their needs.

Who can be committing the offence?
How and why, what reason?

“Said police, ” is useless.
As are the “added and described.”

In transient was villain, and homeless and no job.
He went from town to town
All around, North and South,
Toronto, and Guelph, and London.

Fatima went to hills and mountains and the farms.

“Police said…Rumours said…” are worthless.

“Whose guilt is? ” No one seeks.

Ask Mazda.
