Who am I,
To understand,
To question,
To argue,
The man that was before me.
A man I never knew,
Yet the man I will one day become.
Others knew him by name,
While I looked upon him and knew not.
The part of me,
No the part him,
I was and he was.
Linked by not only blood,
nor love,
nor mind,
Linked by a misunderstood soul,
And the secrets that soul held.
I am his as he was mine,
Forever my father,
And forever my future.
