Fate Poem by Emmanuel Benson

Fate

A long walk might not bring a good work
A good voice might not make a good song
A good taste might not quench thirst
The strong do not always win

The rich are not always kind
The poor are not always humble
The gardens are not always green
A good glass given to the blind

So many times i wish
So many things i desire
So many places i hoped
So many thought ought not

Shadows never miss their trail
Seasons always goes with time
Good it is to desire
But what will be will be
