Fallen Down Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Fallen Down

Fallen Down

I fell down frequently,
In my life.
There was no tranquility
Only lots of strife.

I was unable to stand anymore
So I fell down.
I fallen down
Could not get up.

So I took to vices
To others unknown.
It ripped apart my soft, sweet soul.
Those drugs were not worth it.

Fallen down, then lay on the ground
I began to wonder
How I was going to go on this way.
I did my very soul betray.

*This is fictitious. I've never taken any drugs.
