Fairy Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Fairy

Fairy

That fairy of the Heaven and Earth
Tried and tried but she couldn't.
The weather too extreme
The tornadoes wild.

This fairy lost her fairy smile.
She flourished her wand
One, two, three.
This fairy didn't even recognize me.

This fairy's worked her wand so hard.
She worked and worked so hard so hard
But these conditions of our Earth
Tried the fairy's worth.

She then demanded to all
Citizens of the Earth
To help her perform a miracle.
They struggled and solved the problem for what it was worth.

The fairy's wand swirling around
So merrily she looked at all on the Earth's ground.
She bid humankind farewell.
The fairy and the humans performed so well.
