Fairy Queen Poem by Justin Gildow

Fairy Queen

In the throes of Beltane
The sun and dew are all apparent
From many directions come the children
From many directions come the parents

And the time seemed so long
Since all this time I've waited to meet you face to face

We finally meet
And the whole year long wait was worth it in the end
As you're the fairy queen
Decked out beautifully in costume
With glitter and beautiful makeup put on with graceful care

I thank you for your kindness
It made the year long wait worth it all in the end

Whether by Beltane
Whether by Renaissance Faire
Whether by special occasion
I look forward to the time we'll meet again
A better and bright day it will be
When we again reunite
