Fading Love

  The love in my heart has now faded,
My once bright eyes have now been shaded,
The shadows file in and I'm left all alone,
The pain in my heart cuts me to the bone,
I try to scream but now one will hear me,
I'm surrounded in darkness yet I still see,
I see all the pain that lies within,
Soon the crying will begin,
I lay here dying in this hate filled time,
Awaiting the day when I can shine,
I lay here still as I begin to cry,
My time has come so I say goodbye.
