I leave the light, that holds me tight.
Don't know how I sleep at night,
but I must keep going,
keep butting up a fight.

I feel special like a charm,
when you hold me in your arms.
Don't let go, don't leave me,
with you I'm happy and free.

I've found my heart,
you've had it from the start.
You play around like it's a game,
like a little kid who got hold of a flame.

Don't leave, don't fade away
after all, tomorrow is a new day.
The hours start to blur and haze,
Like a kid on a path, my mind strays.
