Everywhere Poem by Jennifer Gordon

Everywhere

I see you on the wall
in my dreams
in the night
I hear you in my screams
in the next room
and down the hall
I feel you in my bed
in my shirt.
and in my arms
I taste you in the air
in the food that I eat.
I smell you on my pillow.
this is beyond sweet.
You’re every where I go
You’re everywhere i am.
I’ll avoid you to keep the pain at bay.
to watch what I say.
to keep me drowning in the air.
so I can hide from the truth that you don’t really care.
