Escape Via Poetry Poem by SAS Marshall

I made a great escape from lonliness and depression
From a world of fears where tears follow in succession
It's been a tough run but now I'm finally here
I can proudly say this is the best I've felt all year
I've had major ups and downs
Random explosions of smiles then frowns
But that now I've changed my attitutde
And to all those that hurt me I express heaps of gratitude.

Next time you see me I won't be what you know of me
Because I made a great escape via poetry.
