Too Proud Poem by SAS Marshall

Too Proud

She was too proud...
She had thoughts that she kept to herself that she'd never say aloud
Because she was too proud...
She had feelings that ate away at her like some form of parasite
She'd curl up and want to waste away when day turnt to night
But she'd never tell anyone because she was too proud...
How could she find the courage to tell anyone she was weak
Where could she find the words when she promised her pride she wouldn't speak?
She was too proud
She'd leave this place if she could, move to the sea and live on a boat
She'd kill herself and be too proud to leave a suicide note
All beacuse she was too proud...
