Envy Poem by Heather Burns

Envy

Rating: 4.0

People envy many
things
houses, lots
diamond rings.

Fancy clothes
takes their eye.
They sit, let
time go by.

Possession position,
earthly fame
Just to have a
well-known name.

These are nice I
agree
important things
aren't bought,
they're given free.

like people laughing,
people walking
sometimes holding
hands and talking.

I agree Heather. Nice poem about the value of warm relationships. I like...possession position...

Envy is like a cancer for the soul. This poem should show that to any thoughtful, caring person. Poetry is just concentrated prose and this you prove in your writing. I love it.
