Enemy Poem by jayne carpenter

Enemy

I listen to my thoughts when there is time and space,
I see much disturbance and displace,
You hit me like know other,
Child,
Friend,
Or mother,
I tried so hard once before,
Not to listen to your roar,
My enemy,
You have found away to open the door,
I see you now with realistic-troubling-desires,
You scare me with the words that you so,
distort-meanness-direction.
