Emotions Rule Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Emotions Rule

Emotions rule

We can trace love roots
And never shoot
An arrow in darkness
The face reflects sadness

It happens over the death
When someone has breathed last
Leaving behind great vacuum
And deserted calm

The person we cherished
And lived till the end
There is much to feel about
This is how we evaluate love

In the initial days
It might have been felt in other ways
But as time passed gradually
You have become emotionally attached permanently

Love never dies
As it tried to come around
And enjoy new world
With efforts taken so bold

We have heard about divine love
And we generally believe
But in practice, it is hardly substantiated
Because we come across many stories unheard
