Eggs Of Life Poem by Randy McClave

Eggs Of Life

The egg represents the holy trinity
The father, The Son and the Holy Ghost in unity,
The egg with its shell, and its white, and the yolk
As one they all do spiritually and singularly invoke.
The shell protects and holds the yolk and the white
As God holds his Son and the Holy Ghost with delight,
The white and the yolk nourishes the body as a whole
As God, and the Holy Spirit and the Son nourishes the mind and soul.
The egg represents that all three are still just one
God and his Son and the Holy Spirit will always continue on,
Looking upon an opened egg you will understand and see
The egg will always acknowledge, all three.

3 eggs are lying on the wooden kitchen table
I call those three eggs, John, Tom and Able,
They are all the same size and shape as they all lay down
One is white, one is tan, and one is brown.
When those eggs are cracked opened into a frying pan
You don't see the shell color of brown, white or tan,
Their inside is the same texture and color and look
As if they all came from the very same opened book.
If those three eggs were all left alone to hatch
Then unto each other all three would be a match,
Though the outside shell shows a different hide
They are exactly the same always on the inside.

The egg represents both God and man
Maybe that was part of Gods most holy and genius plan,
The egg represents The Father and The Son and the Holy Ghost
Maybe the egg was created to prove of the almighty host.
The egg of course comes in different sizes and colors
All given birth by their fathers and mothers,
Though their outside shells may not all look the same
But, inside the shell they all are known by a name.
The egg shells come in many different colors and sizes
And indeed in each one is life and not disguises,
Inside all eggs are the same colored yolk and albumen
As inside of us all are the same colored women and men.
