Dying Soldier Poem by Issac Zheng

Dying Soldier

Rating: 4.5

What's worth to fighting for?
What's reason of people dying for?
We have nothing to waiting for,
Because I've been through it.

When I feel suffocating,
Nothing else is remaining.
May kingdom forgive my sin,
Because I've been through it.

I ain't looking for a place to hide,
It's the pain weight out the pride.
Like someone break my heart inside,
Because I've been through it.

Sometime I lost all sense o control,
When my mind breaks through my soul.
I'm on the end of lonely road.
Because I've been through it.

My spirit was walking on the broken glass,
Like everything just come and pass.
I know nothing would ever last.
Because I've been through it.

I tried to live on my own,
And those ruined their house and home,
Looking for forgiveness from a stone,
Because I've been through it.

When it's time to let die,
And I lost all the try.
A moment, nothing worth to fight,
Because I've been through it.
