Dying Of The Light Poem by Colin Ian Jeffery

Dying Of The Light

Dying of the light
Shall not tremble the soul
Nor moist eyes with tears
For a man from Galilee walked on water
Was crucified for the children of Adam
Promising souls who believe shall never die
And will join him in Heaven.

Dying of the light
Shall be a new beginning
With soul never trapped grave deep
But soaring with Angels
Basking in radiance and joy
Glorifying Almighty God
Creator, eternal truth of love.
