Dying Kiss Poem by Harthman Carpio Munteanu

Dying Kiss

I tried to see -of all the things I...
longed to understand of you,
And my mistake was to absorb just in the way you wanted to-
The answers to the question “Why? ”,
the everlastingly unknown,
The darkened face of what we are
and what we think that we have shown.
Behind the curtains…
there are masks you put on and you try to play,
But in the end I realized the game’s the oldest fashion way
In which we do our tricks, our deals;
our only shield and shelter, too
And bounding acts together is exactly what we have to do.
I’m not accusing you of change,
I’m not accusing myself either,
‘Cause that’s the way we may be turning the taste of life a little bitter, We do have though the obligation
or we’re responsible of this:
You don’t let anyone to love you
and feed you with its dying kiss…
