Dusk And Goats Poem by Kevin Condron

Dusk And Goats

Dusk, the light is fading in the east
A star shines in the darkened sky
The air is warm and all is still
A goat descends to lowland grasses

Tranquil scenes by summer shores
Stillness in the forests
A cooling breeze moves through the trees
The goat is shot by a lone huntsman

A lovely, picturesque little poem with lots of imagery and atmosphere. I like the originality of it, too. Nicely done.
