Duck Poem by michael oliver

Duck

A still is silent
shape suspended - between
Pebble - Water - Air
sunshine and shade
The drake - parades
grey - dark purple
round - oval - Is
a drake asleep
Sheen of water
flows broken past
Reflections - Light - Thought
never the same
Is silent as still
The mind inquires
A shape resolved
between
Pebble - Water - Air
