Drunk behind the wheel
There is a drunk behind the wheel, their mind and
Body they do not feel.
Are they really thinking! When there's no limit
To their drinking.
They say they're in control and a fifth of liquor they can hold.
In the bar they are the center of attraction
Not seeing others reactions.
The bartender and waitress are doing their job
Keeping track of everyone is really quite hard.
When words are slurred and they're falling down
Is not the time to let them drive in town.
Calling a cab, family member or friend
Could save a life in the end.
You can have a designated driver to take you home
Don't go drinking all alone, cause the life you save
May be your own.

thank you for reading and commenting on this poem which is true in so many ways
This poem makes a good point, Louis. M.A.D.D. (Mothers Against Drunk Drivers) waged a campaign v.s. drunk drivers who were responsible for the deaths of their children. When in doubt, call an UBER!
This poem has not been translated into any other language yet.
