Dreamscape Poem by Danette Frenz

Dreamscape

In the center of the universe, I see you.
Filling up the galaxy, with light and sunshine, too.
You are my love, my one and only star.
Bright and warm, your heart is never far.

Whizzing comets and shooting stars,
Milky Way and bright red mars.
Dancing on a lunar moon,
Singing to an oldies tune.

Gravity pulled you all along,
To me, we sang a romantic song.
The path has been an asteroid belt,
Along the trail, the pain we felt.

Not a landscape, but a dreamscape
We could not, so far, escape.
Come with me,
And you will see.
Who I am.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
The universe is a mystery to me, but it is beautiful, nonetheless.
