Dreams Poem by Sasidharan Uppath

Dreams

Rating: 2.7

Everyone has many dreams
Seldom they come in sleep
That cause for rare screams
Leading a person to weep.

Dreams have funny turns
In few moments or seconds
Passing fancies and funs
In strange states of minds.

It calls on as nightmare
When a phobia takes on
Looking any escape rare
With deadly happenings.

It seems unabated wish
Or an unallayed horror
Like foes come to smash
Or friends in need to bear.

Dreams teem in children
With mysterious visions
Coming in so to weaken
By shrieks of coercions.

It breaks up the sequence
With untied sort of events
And unknown pretty beings
Lolling over in moments.

It is soul in wandering
Thus spake wise sages
In pursuit of a craving
Or in fear of ravages.

Day-dreaming is a play
Wooing our keen desires
As we fill them in a way
Wishes in set squares.

Let all our dreams be gay
Let the nightmares be away
To perceive a refined way
Yaw! For happiness everyday.
