An Awakening Poem by Sasidharan Uppath

An Awakening

Rating: 2.7

1-An Awakening

Down Down my sullen moods
I am tired of your intimacy
Leave, let live but not at woods
With hassles and ills of iniquity.

Kith and kin are cheating behind
But I am not scared of the wound
Day and night haunt me to damage
With mishaps over a pious image.

Men and matters fling out horror
Much to turn me tense and alien
Very few pity this cursed bearer
Still I am bent on facing the bane.

Life of man is neither to go undone
Despite many ills and pulls of men
Nor to turn off burden to be done
Despite many of clan are bad men.

Down Down my sullen moods
I am tired of your intimacy
Leave, let live but not at woods
With hassles and ills of iniquity.
