Jnanam (Wisdom) Poem by Sasidharan Uppath

Jnanam (Wisdom)

Rating: 2.7

Things coming all are not really ours
Those sought after are not fully Joys
Those pains borne are not fully grief
Those bitter fruits are not all sour.

Does anyone know root of our soul?
Does man know path of his real role?
Things lost here are not really loss
Also things won are not really gain.

Hey! “I” is only a piece of memory
And Jnanam is oblivion of “I”
Things gone through seem destined
Things yet to come may be mere fate.

Being selfish human is a wild norm
Being selfless in life is noble norm
‘Give and take’ is part of society norm
‘Live and let live’ is fair-borne norm.
