Dreaming The Far Away Banks Poem by Iris Mista

Dreaming The Far Away Banks

Rating: 4.0

In an abandoned space
One old and lonely ship
Blurred, without a face
tied-up to a rusty clip

All liveliness out of sight
It will never turn back
Blinded by autumns light
The summer lost in a hack

Soon the water will freeze
Enclosed, nothing than craving
For that sweet warm breeze
Stiffened by winters bathing

The ice grinding sharp scars
On her forced waiting flanks
Underneath cold bright stars
Dreaming the far away banks
