Whenever a heart is bound to die
no matter the reason, don't ask why
whenever the heart did turn around
making that final splashing sound
how long does it take to heal
to recover the ability for life to feel
Is it possible to live a life again
I need to know, if so, please, when
when will the everlasting longing end
no more begging's for God to send
when will my splattered heart turn back
to bring fulfilling life, to end the black
My heart cripples, pounds and sighs
longing for hello's, hearing the goodbyes
the reality, or what seemed, turned blind
I stretch my arm, by touch, I want to find
the closed door to experience a tomorrow
and stop these yearning days of sorrow
