Dormant Solemn Dreams Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Dormant Solemn Dreams

Here in Phoenix the sun has already gone down several hours
ago, people looking for an entertaining time through music
and its coded rhythms.

Feeling solemn dreams lying dormant in minds of everyone it
seems, yet they aren't always looking to access them in
order to make their lives any better.

Shutting out positive merits that are theirs for the asking,
just trying to take care of their families takes away all of
their energy, hopefully it won't be that way throughout all
of their life.
