Don't Chase Away Poem by Randy McClave

Don't Chase Away

You can chase a cheater out of your house
And you can chase away a drunk off of your couch,
You can chase away a druggy off of your street
And you can chase off every prostitute that you meet.
You can chase away every bully out of any school
And you can chase away all lying politicians who try to rule,
You can chase away false profits knocking on your doors
And you can chase away thieves from the stores.
You can chase away the sinners from your home
And you can chase away the liars away from Rome,
You can chase away the lazy bum that's sitting in a chair
And you can chase away the pests that's always in your hair.
You can chase away the people that say there is no God
And you can chase away the people who are outlawed,
You can chase away the people that are racists and prejudiced
And you can chase away those who try to control others with a fist.
You can chase away every sinner that you ever came across
And you can chase away the ones who are at a loss,
You can even chase away a lying braggart off of his high perch
But, don't ever chase any of them away from going to church.
