Don't Accept, But Understand Poem by Ros Venn

Don't Accept, But Understand

Rating: 5.0

Don't worry about me, I am an oddity,
Thanks for your concern,
I can see it's out of modesty,
About me you will learn,

What some call paradise, I call hell,
What's grotesque to you is sublime to me,
Like a roll of dice, I can tell,
You'll protest, what's within my mind,

Where I find peace in solitude,
You would find delirium,
Piece by piece I construed,
I've escaped my sanatorium,

Now study me, like a new discovery,
Don't put me in a box,
Let me roam free, making a recovery,
Like a majestic fox.
