Doctor, Doctor Poem by Edwin Robinette

Doctor, Doctor

Rating: 4.5

The doctor says we are going to die
Our cholesterol is much too high

There is mercury in the fish we fry
Air pollution is at an all time high

Our ground is full of toxic waste
Our waters have a murky base

Too much salt, too many starches
Too much eating at the Golden Arches

Our favorite foods are full of chemicals
Our cities are surrounded by filthy landfills

Much acid rain is pouring down
Clear rivers are now turning brown

So, see your doctor, he is in
But, it won't matter, death will win
