Disguises Of Humanity Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Disguises Of Humanity

Rating: 5.0

Wind shaking flowers, limbs and leaves of trees everywhere
during this storm, insisting on taking everything in nature
and knocking it down, blowing it away.

Surprising humanity in depths of its wild fury as it continues
to threaten Mother Nature and people have no control over any
of it, yet we keep trying to preserve it in any way we can.

Turning attention to other things that need to be attended to,
looking around the world, seeing whatever can be found in many
disguises of humanity.

Blindly stepping out of line just to bring things back to order
without having anything topple us as we gather strength, wanting
to feel life coming to fruition only.

Suddenly happening right before our eyes tonight, stepping under
and over elevations in our world that can be overturned, rushing
towards precious moments we've fallen in love with, wanting more.
