Dictator Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Dictator

You overthrew a dictator in power and,
You became another dictator yourself!
So what can you now teach me?

I have heard the cry as a woman in labour,
And like the wind too strong to stand!
So wash your heart from wickedness,
For the alarm of war is closer at your doorsteps.
