Deep Within Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Deep Within

As deep within this soul there echoes a lonely call,
no one is ever there to hear it - except me alone.

Only being dumb enough to not fear it, others leave
and let me listen in solitude.

Everyone is afraid of the call, yet like a bear in
hibernation, this life is at a standstill.

No longer knowing where to go with it's lone emptiness.
