Deep Mistrust Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Some how I had deep mistrust for mother
She used to fight daily with father
The relations were straining still further
Leaving deep impact on mind more and more

I always had high praise and words to adore
She was so graceful and no ill will I bore
She was all deserving for her splendid show
I found it very hard to push any idea or throw

It is very difficult to form an early opinion
She may prove her self as best companion
It may be so that you are having happy union
It has tragic end if you send any one to the pavilion

We as kids can’t forget bitter memory
We can only feel bad and only sorry
It may add to tension and worry
Life has to go on and to lead or carry

Parent need to take enough care and precaution
Children should be kept out of scene as caution
It hurts more to kids than to themselves
Child takes it to hart and normally behaves

This is not unnatural and happens with all
They create misunderstanding and try to fall
Nothing finds way to come to the terms
Distrust and daily fights work as germs

It may be their way of behaving at home
It was disturbing and creating storm
They may fight and separate as wild vultures
She used to forget me to take into lap and nurture

I could form little faint idea
I was in no position to make plea
They both were so dear and near
I was constantly in tears and under fear

I have no words to offer
They may have different attitudes to differ
I was the only one link between them to serve
I was at pain to learn whether they need to deserve



It may not be good to dwell on episode
Deep ill feeling occupied in mind and rode
It grew with the age and tried to surface
I pushed it to corner but it tried to resurface

It may serve as bad precedent
Mother should be treated as holy and innocent
No feelings should be given a vent
It has to be confined and not sent

Mother is considered as holier than cow
I was at pain to see why it happened and how?
It has to be treated as sad moment and darkest chapter
Nothing should ride in mind and act as simple hater
