Day Dream Poem by Irene D..

Day Dream

Rating: 5.0

Hide and seek, but you'll never find me
I have left and gone into hiding
Where I'm at, nobody knows
Though glimpses you see, as the wind throws
What is left, what fled to flee
I have escaped the worry's crease.

Dull noise of which this soul be tired
Is the spark that made the cannon fire
So far away past light on this sphere
Yet my heart is not submerged in fear
For the vivacity in which me has riled
Is one I know well; freedom admired.

Above the clouds, my thoughts will float
Down river of dreams, I glide in my boat
Completely am I, in the presence of alone
From crowds of people, I have been blown
To them I be among all voices that spoke
But there sound of my silence cannot be broke.

Travelling everywhere, from deserts to snow
Do as I wish, know what I know
Frolic I do, in my joy supreme
No spell shall break this constant daydream
A place where fantasies water and grow
Here in body, but hidden my glow.
