Dawn Poem by robyn nathan

Dawn

Lost in the forest

I am here having heard you

Is it the moan of the trees

The softness of your voice

like the smoothness of your body fitting this mellow tone

Where are you hidden

I am waiting

Gently sway

I am leaves changing colour as you touch me

I am a translucent never-ending steel blue sky

Opening into the warmth of your promise

All is a soft whisper

Rise up before me

Nothing to rush forward for

Nothing to rush back too

Sway with me then

Feeling the breeze on my body

Know the gentle cool of dawn on skin

Let us dance
