Darkness Poem by Claudia Bridgett

I've spent days in the darkness just wanting to be alone.
I've spend days in the darkness wondering how i went wrong.
Before I met you i was so afraid to write this very simply poem.

I can see the light now
My life is bright now
I can step out of the dark now.
I can oipen my eyes and see the light behind the stars.

I don't think i can go back to the dark.
Who would of ever thought t that i would be the magic you feel in your heart.
You brought the light to my life.
You taught me how to smile.
You showed me how to live right
I gues you can say you done it all.

I can see the light now.
My life is bright now.
I can step out the dark now.
I can open my eyes and see the light behind the stars.
