Dark Hours Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Dark Hours

Dark Hours

She spent dark hours and saw the darkness
Around her all over the place where she stood.
The moment of light never entered her mind
And the rays of light never entered the skies.

It seemed the world around didn't care.
She was alone.
Her breath was unknown.
Her eyes were unseen by others.

She brightened up that moment onwards.
She sang a song to herself.
The sun's rays shot through the sky
And their radiance were upon her.

The magic of that moment
Lay in God Himself.
She discovered Him
And He healed her.
