Dark Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Dark

Dark

It is dark with the fog and cloud
Nippiness penetrates like a knife
And sealed are skin pores,
Eyes and sights…

Cannot talk with ones who
Are in holes and blind;
They know not of the hands
When injured, in blood…

They have not seen the roofs
Leaking, filled with drops…
They have no knowledge of
Working hard, day and night…

What can I tell Reagan?
And G. Bush and Trump?

These leeches are friends
Of coyotes, jackals
And foxes, vampires!

No, I am not Muslim
The way that it is said
Praying with mullahs,
Fighting muftis' Jihad;
Neither am communist!

I love to remain man
Selfless with freedom.

I respect the ones that
Plant and harvest love;
Keep track of the mind
To devote from heart.

Loudly, I damn and curse
Politics and borders
With flags and anthems
To elect presidents
That act as murderers.
