Dappled Shadows Poem by Alison Gaff

Dappled Shadows

The sun casts dappled shadows
As I walk beneath the trees
There's oh so many shades of green
And so many shapes of leaves

Some trees have started turning
'Cos Autumn on its way
There's reds and golds and yellows
They truly brighten up the day

There's lots of crimson berries
On hawthorn and rowan too
As Autumn provides a bounty
To help see the winter through
