Dance Life Away Poem by Leaking Pen

Dance Life Away

Am I too serious a poet?
To smoke pot or not
Once in a while I let go
Of my imaginary foe
How can I avoid rhyming?
When my heart needs timing
Some days are wasted on split milk
Others, sorrow booze as my drink.
If I can loosen up a bit
And let go of all of it
I can say I enjoyed partying
And I danced life away- no arguing -
And the day I died:
I made my dust fly!
