Cycles Poem by Judy Jones

It's such a shame
How we hold so much energy and creativity inside
but lack a direction to channel it
Like we are waiting on someone
to flag us into the right direction
But what other way do we know?
We were not taught otherwise
to go on one's free will
The challenges one decides to make for ourself
Here I endlessly try
but instead I am going through cycles
Trying and trying to break through
Trying to start a new
And tomorrow
I will try again
