Love betrays us time and again, trying to hide it, not wanting
to be hurt, afraid it won't be a true love and will be lost in
the desert of betrayal.

Living in the passion and desires that continually fill this
heart, timid and shy, not wanting to part the curtains of
purity and innocence built through the years.

Yet, hoping that you will reach within and bring me into your
heart where I long to be, wanting silently to share this life-
time with you.

Watching and waiting for a sign to show that you care, wanting
your hand to grasp mine, taking me into the reality of your heart
once and for all knowing that life will at last be fulfilled with
you alone.
