Cry For Help Poem by Liz Bedford

Cry For Help

Can you hear me Mother as I'm talking to you?
As I sit and stare into the deep wide blue
Can you hear me Mother, I need your help
For something has happened, it's hard to cope
For my boy is in trouble, something so bad
And I need some advice from you and Dad
Oh why did God take you, why aren't you here
Why can't you be here to wipe my tears?
For you are a mother and you understand
I need you to guide me and hold my hand
So I'll listen to the signs and feel your words
And I'll try to be calm and wait, observe
But I'm so frightened, so scared and down
What can I do to turn this around?
I can feel you mother as I'm talking to you
I just need you to tell me what to do
I can't control this; what will be will be
But I'm dreading the outcome for my family!
So will you help me mother from there up above
Send me a sign, send me your love.
