We're all sad at the breaking news, that my friend and others have been abused
We don't want this way, we want them to stay
So how can we start this anew? I think just be respectful..don't you? !
We've loved the chat, the banter, the laughter
Remember our roots how lived though the slaughter
Of our home, our culture, our values and love
For the country we left, from its shores we were shoved
I've taught my sons how to live in our way, for what we learned is true today
That freedom is special and has to be won; this has to be passed to everyone
We all have our views, that's makes us unique
But surely with tact we can think and speak
Special people and friends made us come together
And I'll be thankful for that forever
So I hope they come back forgive the hurt, let us start again remove the dirt
For we're All Rhodesians, fight through thick and thin,
I hold you all as my friends and kin
