Crowded Body Poem by Britt Veloso

Crowded Body

It's all in the white marrow
Eye ducts filled with sorrow
It's the anatomy of a broken soul
The veins full of blue blood and mold
Can someone tell me why?
The body is about to fry
The nails and teeth
Crumbled by feet
The brain is melting
The brain is beneath
Cut it up
Drown it now
Find a way
Shut it down
