The Weeping Poem by Britt Veloso

The Weeping

Rating: 5.0

Little bullets hit me all over
I shake because you should come over
A trick of the brain sets me in motion
I feel like I know me, I feel like the ocean
Solitude captures me too much
I want a rough rider to kiss or touch
Money is paper and love ain't a crime
Why is it illegal to call a chica a dime?
I'm pelted by pistols I craved in my sleep
I'm just the crazy girl who wants a tear on her cheek
Timing is everything and this world doesn't know
Stuck in a cycle we made on our own
I want out, I want love, and I'd prefer with a glove
Nobody is looking at the hill that's in pain
In stead they reapply make-up for dates in vain
