Crescent Moon Poem by Bridgid Patrick

Crescent Moon

Rating: 5.0

I continually fall deeper
As I hold you in my arms
I swore I'd never love again
But now it's been so long

Forgotten names and faded faces
Scars buried in dry tears
But your kiss so sweet upon my lips
Has helped erase my fears

Love I hold, so complicated
How did we come to be? ?
So softly do you speak my name,
At last my soul is free.
