Corvine Poem by Jamie Dewyer

Corvine

the things we do for death
that rose
the error senses
the fortune told
the gift with webs that bleeds to honor
your december winds are harder

whisper thru the teeth of summer
her hat hangs in vines and wonder
here
these meager gifts all spoil
here
we favor mortal coil
